Celebrating Saudi Cambridge representative commemorating winning of the slimmer of the year title 2017

The Cambridge Diet Centers in Saudi Arabia held a celebration to award the Cambridge representative Ali Qabbani, who won the title of the slimmer of the year 2017.

The celebration was held at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Jeddah city last week, with the honor of Mr. Mazen Batterjee, the vice- chairman of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Perry Beach, the British general consul in Jeddah, Andy Jones, Cambridge weight plan representative (UK) and Mr. Hazem Saklou Alamoudi, the executive director of Alkanaah Holding Company and the exclusive agent of Cambridge Weight Plan(UK) in Saudi Arabia.

A large number of Saudi sports stars, social media celebrities, entrepreneurs attended this special celebration as well as a wide variety of media outlets had a strongly presence in this event such as newspaper, radio and television.

During the celebration, Batterjee noted that Qabbani is today an ideal person of tenacity, persistence and challenge to lose 89 kg of weight in just 10 months. He described his success story as inspirational story for all Saudi youths, for being the first Arabic man who won the title of “International Slimmer of the Year” amid intense competition from 18 competitors from around the world.

For his part, Saklou explained that the Cambridge plan is made up of a flexible six-step programme, allowing the customer, under the supervision of the consultant, to choose the perfect step that fits you and your lifestyle.

"Cambridge offers nutritionally balanced diet programmes ranging from 600 kcal to 1,500 kcal per day. The consultant will explain the Cambridge Weight Plan steps plan including the four stages of each weight loss programme; preparation, weight loss, stabilisation and long-term weight management," Saklou added.

Jones praised Qabbani's experience of losing weight. He described him as an honorable role model for Saudi youths, who deserve respect and admiration, indicating that the insistence of Qabbani's healthy way to lose weight was valued by the judging committee.

Qabbani thanked the Cambridge weight plan center for the diet plan, which assisted him to overcome obesity and lose 89 kg, along with the very carefully selected health diet, ranking first in the world weight loss competition.

"Celebrating today is not for Ali Qabbani as a person, it is for his body, which exhausted of being overweight, unhealthy, non-ideal and unnatural, so we are in dire need of adopting a healthy eating habits and daily exercise as a new culture not only to protect ourselves, but to preserve the future of the Kingdom of health, which will be built on the arm of its youths."
